Where tracking occurs, it is used to measure and improve the Service, understand how features are used, and deliver a more relevant experience. Where required by law, we will seek your consent before tracking begins.

Child and family information: the child profiles, relationships, caregivers and village members you create, together with moments, activities and calendar events you and your village add.

User content: photos, posts, comments, messages and other content you and your village share within the Service.

Contacts: when you choose to invite or connect with others, we may access contact information you provide to help you build your village.

Usage and device data: identifiers, browsing history, search history and usage data that help us operate, secure and improve the Service.

We will use your data to provide you with the services you requested, such as email notification and newsletter, etc. More specifically, we use your information to:

• create and manage your account and the child profiles you authorise;
• connect you with the family members, caregivers and friends you invite into your village;
• display moments, activities, Jios and calendar events shared within your village;
• send you notifications, email updates and service-related communications;
• maintain the security, integrity and accessibility of the Service; and
• comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We will not sell your data to third parties, but we may share it with our partners who help us provide our services. We do not transfer or disclose your information to third parties for purposes other than the ones provided in this Privacy Policy, except where required by law or to protect our rights.

Within the Service, the content you and your village add is visible to the members you have approved for the relevant child’s village. Parents remain in control of their child’s profile, relationships and access.

Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data. We use encryption to protect your information both in transit and at rest, and we limit access to personal information to authorised personnel who need it to operate the Service.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

We store your personal information for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes. We will retain your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

You may request for your data to be deleted. You can also update your profile information, remove village members, or delete child profiles and content you have created within the app.

Kampong Village is designed for parents and caregivers to manage information about the children in their care. Children themselves do not create accounts. Parents and caregivers are responsible for the content they add about a child and for managing who can see it within that child’s village.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
